Oh yeah the shooting blanks question...most blood parrot males are sterile due to the hybridizing between two distinct related cichlids, not two closely releated cichlids or have reproducetive parts problems, typical in the hybrids.

I read the article. I thought you said you didn't trust that article anyway? Do you have a source you do trust that tells the parentage of the BP?

The problem is that parrot breeders wont tell us the secret about how to created the blood parrot and the flowerhorn. We still dont know whos the parents of the blood parrot, unless we do genetic test.
