Biggest difference is appearance. Electric blues are a sky blue almost across the entire body with no stripes, while normal ones look kind of like green terrors in coloration, but with more black and white stripes.

Yes I think EBA. I have a 5 footer with 2 Oscars and I wanted my next tank to have alot more colour but I don't really like small fish. I was considering a mbuna tank but I really love the colour of EBA.

I had 5 in a 55 gallon they were fine until 2 paired up and spawned so I had to move 3 I now have 10 spread out in other tanks so if they pair up and pawn they do get aggressive here are some photo of my breeding male he is a lot bigger than the female about 4 inches. Have had them 10 months and they have spawned about 6 times but I leave the fry to their fate as I would get over run with eba's
