I wouldn't say he got ripped off or to get their money back. It was actually not a bad price for a silver. Not the fish labeled as but still not a rip off.

Uh no...2 yrs ago there was blacks at $50. Now they range from $80-125 average. Some places run them at $150-180 but that is too much for a baby black.

At a LFS or through a wholesaler or supplier? I paid $35 and $50 for mine through vendors. Never seen anything less then $100 at LFS.
Both online vendors and LFS for this reasoning. Online vendors are on the lower side of the current range. Yet the same online vendors have them in the LFS they rep for the same price. When I brought them in for my personal store I ran them at $125 for singles and 2+ were $100 each. My local stores other then my own range from $135-190 per fish. Of the online vendors that had some all on here have shops connected with their vendor status here. So their prices are a representation of the LFS price that they rep. Most of the same vendors that got them this year had them 2yrs ago at the $50 price range. Last year I think Pedro was the only one that got any in if I remember right. I don't recall what they ran.
Here in the Midwest there has not been small blacks brought in in the last 10 years other then the batch I brought in. The closest was 5ish years ago or so when I picked up that 6" black. Otherwise local stores supplies here are 12"+ and $400+ each.
