blacks and blues are the same thing. but now they are painting silver aros blue and those are the onces that you see with a whole blue body and eyes. its dumb

Same species, reason why I think they call is a black/blue arowana is because it has a tint of blue/black to it....at least mine does that is.

i have also bought one of those color enhanced silvers.Are they injecting these fish with a blue dye?or selectively breeding very colorful arowanas?

If the whole fish is blue, then probably injected with dye and hormone pills.

Yep there is blue based golden Asian Aro - quite pricey even over in Asia. this strain originally hails from Malaysia. Check out mine ... not so blue yet, but you get the idea ^^

I have lost black aro during new year ... so no pix =(
