blue catfish or channel catfish

hi

iam think of getting some catfish, but the problem is the space and grow rate of catfish , so i was think of geting a pond outside for a catfish and i have be reading about blue catfish or channel catfish , with one is more intresing , easy to find in the uk, can you hand feed them and how long can i keep them in a 60” x 27” pond 275 gallons that the cheapest pond i found so far i could go bigger but it will cost more.

or i could get a flathead catfish would a channel catfish and a bule catfish get a long together with a flathead

above ground or burried? how cold does it get in the winter?
 
thats hella cold. I dont know of the cats would survive 3 degrees.
 
he would be talking Celsius not Fahrenheit hes from across the pond. might get a little chill in the winter at night. would put in like a 300 watt heater atleast, with a power head to move the water over it. attatch the power head to a piece of pvc that is big enough around to fit the heater in, then slide the heater in from the other end. plug it in when its gonna get cold and you should be fine. the fish you listed should be just fine then, if it does start to freeze over on top make sure you drop an aerator stone to keep them breathing.
