blue oscars......WTF?

went to the lfs a week ago and they had 2 baby blue oscars, not cobalt blue like sky blue! really blue with white patterns. i almost bought one but he would have been lunch ..... is this rare? i hope this is not a product of this new tatooing crap!!

those are blueberry oscars. Just lutino oscars that they dye.

Its not the tattooing, its the dye where they dip them in acid and then soak them in dye. They are lucky if the survived the process.

there put in acid??? how painful is that!!!! i cant believe they let crap like that go on, although they let all kinds of bs go on with animals and fish alike.

i ave seen albino oscars turn blue naturally though. my freind has one where the orange pattern has a blue outline, yet it was almost pure white when he bought it.
