In defense of pet stores, sometimes people are really really stupid and wont listen. Then they get the african cichlid to go with the tetras. In my opinion those people deserve what they get.

People's stupidity is also what brings a "blue" or "red"-dyed oscar to lfs.

Stupid #1: The guy that dyes the fish
Stupid #2: The one that sells the fish
Stupid #3: The guy that buys the fish

A red oscar does not look good, it's anormal. It makes me feel bad to even see them like this, poor fish. And why do people do this? Simple... $$$$
