Nice. I want to get one more so he can have a buddy, but I never see them anywhere. The one I got is the first one Iv found since I was a kid

Got bored, so heres 2 pics. Crickets eating out, and them hanging out on one of the plants. Plants seem to be doing good with 12hrs of lighting a day. I water about once a week or so.

After he ate those 3 wax worms he went back in his hole and havent seen him since haha.

man my fern looks like crap. It has new sprouts comming off, but the foliage that was on when I got it is terrible looking. The aluminum plant is looking great though..

I'm glad to hear he is eating your good to go now .I have a 6 gal I built for dart frogs .I might set it up and see what I can catch this spring.

Ya he is in a MUCH better place now. I never see it anymore :( Whatever makes it happy

Most land dwelling animals of the non fluffy type (some fluffy things included however) like to live in obscurity. I have several tarantula's ive ONLY seen when I purchased them, never to be seen again (Burrowers)

That centipede I posted in my thread (New pickup) is in a tupperware container... The lid is blue, the sides are "Frosted" and he burrows (I gave him 5" of substrate) Even though he looks magnificent... The allure of these creatures isn't "hey imma go look at my ____" its "oh, my ___ is out, i'll observe for a bit cause idk when i'll see him again". Once you truly understand that, you won't be so worried about feeding and where he is, and what hes up to, or even where his home is.

The newest rendition of the tank looks best... One thing you have to learn about Eco earth (Coco fibre) is that it WILL suck up EVERY SINGLE drop of water it can... Therefor, you do NOT use it with water dwelling animals where water is desired... Unless its over spots that will not contact water

Apparantly they ran out of korean fern or something, so I got a Suzy wong. hmmm

Ya it sucks about not seeing this guy, I know he is in his "huge burrow" he made for himself. I just open the lift and sniff, if I smell rotten flesh I know hes dead. SO far its good! I also look in the water dish, when the coco fiber is inside I am pretty sure hes been in there. Ill try to get some more pics of the plant update tmw. I spread out the fern a bit

Well I stuck another 15watter on the tank to see if that helps "green" up the suzy wong. Other plant has taken off well. 2nd light REALLY light up the tank alot more so I guess we will see in a week if it really helps
