Blue tongue skinks and beardies?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
As somebody already said, the skinks present in the trade come from a diferent habitat then beardys, I wouldnt recomend trying it unless you have a room size enclosure and centralian blue tongues are available to you (by the way outside australia they are like 10 grand each).

Really centralian blue tongues? Wow, if thats what happens then its possible you guys have the biggest captive population out there:)

i've seen blue tongues all over canada but they are not centralian, the ones you are seeing are a different species (indonesian) that are much easier to get ahold of

oo really? well it that then

keeping a indo bts is possible with a beardie. but first you must have an eastern beardie. and a large water dish. also in one corner of the tank you should mix some coco fiber with the sand.

Totally wrong. What zoos do in huge enclosures, containing different micro-habitats,and what you do at home in a 60 gallon viv is quite different.
look at the wording. all i said was that it can be done. i did NOT say it would be easy/within the average hobbyist's capability. (though considering that people keep burms and retics, i think it is still quite possible at home. the question is whether you want to use your big tank to co hab instead of buying the dragon and bts their own cages, and putting something larger in your big cage...)

Its not good to mix animals of diferent geographical distributions.

Oh wait, why is this still on? I thought we killed the idea of keeping this two species together.
