the male actually had a claw about 4x the size of that one that he lost in a moult. (made things even more obvious) But claw size and swimmerets sometimes aren't enough to tell.

The female still has some unhatched eggs which is odd. Hopefully they'll hatch. (If they don't within 3 weeks, I'm going to find out some way to remove them.) I don't understand why they didn't hatch.

No eggs hatched...very unfortunate. I've moved onto red swamp crayfish. (procambarus clarkii)

Shame, i remember when my blues bred its rewarding to see the little babies, good look with breding the red swamp crayfish.
