I can't help but ask where that bit of knowledge comes from?
Dyeing is not a new trending topic in the last four years. A website dedicated to awareness against dyeing and its process used to be available to the public (until it closed down I believe). Either injection or acid soaking is used to accomplish this but with a consequent series of skin infections, most notably the viral and incurable lymphocystis which was recorded to wipe out nearly 90% of the dyed Chanda ranga.

I have nothing to say but reiterate that they are in fact dyed and that it is a cruel and completely inhumane practice that should not be supported or condoned by anyone at all in the fish keeping hobby. If it were me I would not do business with that particular establishment again.

The color will go away within a year..It is injected dye......I have recently read a coloumn on a brand new strain of dyed fish......The color is not injected, it is DNA placed in.......It is actually a glow in the dark type.......SShould be on shelves by mid 2012........
