Well, I'll answer the parts I can understand. 'You can't compare people to animals' sounds a lot like many hate mottos. You choose to discriminate based on a difference. Animals are entities much like ourselves who feel pain, can be abused and should not be subject to our murderous whims based on their physical form. You are being speciesist.
What is jail time to stop death? It's like I'm talking to a wall, here. Creatures are experiencing agony and potentially, eventual extinction and shrinking genepools. You'd keep 100 dogs in a kennel for a year to preserve your own life, wouldn't you? Then how is it different to do time one's self for saving another life? This, again, boils down to the fact that you hold yourself as more important than the animal. This is called discrimination. One day, we will have to atone for this tragedy, too.
Terrorism begets terrorism? This is about animal rights more than terrorism.
