I found him, less than half an hour since I'd last checked on him. He bailed, despite all of the weights on the tank. I know this is probably the wrong place for it, but I just needed to say. He was the most amazing pet ever. I raised him from 3 inches. He was 26 when I measured his body today, and well over 5 pounds. I don't even know what to do anymore. Half the time he was the only thing on the planet that made sense to me.

:cry:

:cry::cry::cry::cry:

RIP my beautiful Bob.

Man that sucks time to buy bob jnr

so sorry for ur lost...

So if i'm reading correctly.. he jumped out of your tank intentionally? or it was just by chance he was able to jump out?

Very sorry for your loss.

Isn't this jumping really a well-known issue with silvers that could be prevented? How much weight is on your tank's top? Just curious and for others to learn from.

Sorry for your loss. We just lost our oscar today I know how you feel. :(
