Crap, now what do I do. I have at least a pound of fish 9.5 inches long and no yard to bury her in.

She is still in the tank with the filter running until I can deal with touching her. I have a towel over the tank so I do not have to look.

The trash sounds like a yuck option....the toilet is not going to work she is way too big....

Any suggestions? Never had to deal with a dead fish this large before.

I almost wish that I could afford to cremate her I loved her a lot.

Well... you could always freeze her in a bag, get a nice box for burial, and then find a park or something near you and bury her that way.

well i flung my 12 inch haitiensis into my neighbors yard. right over the fence at night lol.

If you bury the fish, make sure you put him at least 2 feet underground. I buried my gfs hamster once about a foot down and the next morning we wake up and found the box outside, cat probably ate it!

+1 Freezing and burying is the way to go. Find a nice park, beach, wherever
