BDs over Boesemani? You must not have BDs. NICE BDs still cost wayyy more then Boes. Average BDs look nice when they're pups, look like normal Leos or even Hens when they get big.....

I think it's awesome that someone's crazy enough to throw caution to the wind and go down there and get their own rays. IF I had the money I'd do the same.

One thing I've learned about this hobby is there's always going to be haters. It sucks but jealousy gets the best of people. Not sure why, it doesn't do anyone any good, IF you truly love the hobby there shouldn't be anything but appreciation. Wish everyone looked at it this way. People land dream rays and all you hear is how people would rather have "other" rays, how those rays get "too big" or "turn ugly when they get big". One of the happiest days I ever had keeping rays was when I got my Falks. I posted pics and results made me sick. Made me very sad that people would rather make me feel bad about them instead of sharing all the great feelings I had about them. Really changed the way I felt about this forum, that's for sure. BUT then I realized why let the haters ruin it? There's people out there like me that devote much of their lives to their rays and to let anyone stand in front of that is just silly.

Thanks for sharing Knirper. Hope to continue to see regular updates, and I hope they breed for you sooner then later. I wish you nothing but the best with them.

Ok- thread is cleaned up.. warnings issued... this is not the place to argue passed dealings and how rare something is... I wish I had them... good luck and keep us updated..
super jay to the rescue! lmfao...

anyways great rays man! i just got back in BDs and ive started doing things right finally. Atleast i think so. i just need to find a way to keep the food cost lower. Earthworms are a pain to keep feeding. and im still too scared to switch to anything else at the moment. anways. If i still have my rays and i am confident enough to start another ray project such as boesmani I will definitely be asking you for pointers and experience! Great rays! :)

Cool rays, but how did you get them out of Suriname? I thought there were border restrictions?

Couldn't agree more. Thank you for the kind words, and indeed Falkneri is one of the most beautiful species out there.
