they are still at the egg stage as they only spawned yesterday, im keeping my fingers crossed but i dont hold out much hope for them as they have eaten a few already.
Never had problems with my pond snails or the ramshorns eating the eggs. The parents would always move the eggs and fry around.
Also, was quite the day today. This morning my rams seemed normal when I fed them. Then I spent the day working on the fence in my front yard. This evening, when I came back in, the rams weren't there. I looked around, and both pairs layed eggs at the same time, lol. Now I got 2 batches of eggs, lol.
I currently had both my pairs lay eggs yesterday. Today I decided to dig up my 10G breeder tank from the graveyard and got the sponge filter running, and moved the eggs to the 10G. Once they start hatching and I start feeding, I'll add live plants to help with the water parameters.
Temp of 81 degrees and frozen bloodworms. And of course, a pair, lol. Once paired, they stay together all the time. Never separated. They have their own sections of the tank.
