Bonsai garden finally in shape

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh dude for sure! Dig it up and start it on its bonsai way. Jap maples are VERY nice/desirable as bonsai.
Oh I know they are.I've seen some really nice red maple bonsai but my problem has been that the little ones eventually die no matter how carefully I try to dig up and pot them.
This particular one I have had my eyes on has been growing for about a year or so.I noticed it last year while I was pulling up weeds and clovers and figured I would let it grow a bit more before I attempt to move it.

The plants selection is good, highlighting texture and different shade of green that characterized Japanese garden.

One suggestion. The white trellis and white arch ought to be replaced with natural wood tone. to match the other cedar trellis. White is distractive to the tranquility and unnatural looking in Japanese garden .

I would just put a small fence around it and ground grow it for a couple years if it were me. It will thicken up the trunk a lot faster by ground growing over a pot. That would also help it to survive a lot easier as well most likely.
Then that is what I will do...and then there is this one.Albizia Silk tree practically right next to it.

Is Albizia Silk tree another name for a Brzillian rain tree? Because the leaves look identical to a BRT.
The leaves do look similar but they are not the same.I have seen rain trees in pots before and they looked great.
The albizia grows all over around here like a weed.
