Bored back from college, posting some native tank pics

new2natives, you will have no problem with that. I have had turtles in all of my tanks for a year now. Just remember that you have to care about a reptile as much as your fish. Plus, if you screw up the turtles, you screw up your gf. lol.

what about a heat lamp and place for the turtles to get above the surface???

i have kept a RES with fish before.. make sure the fish are alot bigger then the turtles. and for a place to bask, the best way is to make something above the tank, here is one i spent only a few dollars to make.
