Borneo goonch?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Could you include the type of pellet and size? My red wolf sort of feeds like I've seen some goonch feed on YouTube, if the pellet doesn't fall right in front of his face he ignores it so I'm pretty good at landing pellets right on target haha also how long to starve these guys? Might as well get this info now on here instead of making another thread in a month

Its gonna be really hard to not feed him some live.. maybe once a month haha I like to see my preds be preds once in a while. (Please don't start arguing the pros cons and socio political stances on feeding live)

Will,

Lica also lives on the mainland side by side with rutilus. The big, aggressive apex catfish in their range is the lowland giant and the various Wallago species. While lica can be found on the mainland along side of LLG, rutilus and the dwarves, they are also the only one to go on to colonize the Indonesian archipelago.

Oh, ive been thinking Lica were a seperate "island goonch" of some sort since they are usually referred to as Borneo Goonch in most of the things ive read. Thanks for clearing that up though rob, you have Dottie on pellet yet?

Nope. They're just another 'species'. I suspect that DNA analysis would reveal that they're most closely related to rutilus.

Dottie eats massivore, but only sporadically. I can't figure out the ticket to getting that fish to eat well.
