Bottom feeder for my 75 gallon.

I had an Ornate and was able to hand feed him, so I'm sure with patience you can get one to eat from your hand as well. As far as keeping more then one cat you could do 2 Ornates as they are shy and are more outgoing in a group. Though I think with the stock you have your better off with only one.

Think I'll go with one ornate like you said, don't want to overstock. What were you handfeeding yours?

My 13" sun cat wants nothing to do with me... If you want a super interactive hand feeder, wet pet kind of fish you should go a different route totally...

If you mean something like a bigger tank with more interactive fish then that was not an option for me at the moment. (Just 2 more years until a 180 :))

So the stock is almost worked out (cichlids decision is pretty much made, hallelujah :))

1 Green Severum (male)
1 Firemouth (male)
6 Giant Danios
1 Striped Raphael Catfish
1 Sailfin Pleco (2 years)
This is where the last decision is because I love all the catfish and can't decide. I'm certain I'll make a rational decision but I want to see what you guys would do. Help be decide on some combination of the cats I like including Jags, Spotted Raphs, Four Lines, and Horseheads.

My little school of 7 clown loaches in My 125 are the most efficient clean up crew I have ever had. When I vacuum the gravel there is hardly any debris ,and as mentioned above they are easy to get rid of and once they get too big for Your tank they will fetch a good price!

So for catfish I just need to know that all of these can work and I'll end up deciding when I order them.
just the catfish I'm getting not the cichlids danios pleco or striped raph:

Spotted raph
jaguar

jaguar
2 hoplos

Horsehead

four line

Will any if these be good?

Going with this, ordering in a few:

1 green severum
1 firemouth
6 giant danios
1 striped raphael
1 sailfin pleco
1 spotted raphael
either 1 jaguar or another striped raph (will my old raph eat the new one? My current one is 3" and the one I am getting is about 1.5")

Well if you guys didn't see my threads on irwini catfish (whether to get one) people had said to go for it but a lot of people on PL were discouraging it and instead saying to go for several medium or small doradids, I can see their point so I need to know whether this is overstocked or not:

1 green severum
1 blue acara
6 giant danios
1 sailfin pleco (grow out)
2 striped raphael catfish
1 spotted raphael catfish
1 chocolate raphael catfish

Sounds pretty good to me! It seems like a great setup for a platydoras group! Defiantly not overstocked...
