I have a 125 gallon with a female devil bout 9"
male jaguar bout 16"
Senegal birchir 10"
Male convict 6"
Armored catfish 7"
and a common pleco 3"
Unfortunately I'm not here on the weekends and my grandmother "takes care" of my fish and feeds them WAY TOO MUCH and there's so much food left over I was wondering if theirs another kind of good bottom feeder I can have?
cause mine apparently aren't good enough I was thinking about a red tail catfish and then trading him away once he got too big for a smaller one and continue the cycle unless anyone else has any better suggestions

What if you packaged the food in to ziploc bags and label them for morning/afternoon feedings? Feeding less is going to be the key for sure. You could even have Sundays be non feeding days so they only get fed Saturday. I like to take Sundays as nonfeeding days for my stock as well.

Yea I would love to do that but the problem is that my grandmother still won't listen she's very stubborn and "always right"

Feed fish well through the week and skip the weekend fish should be fine. Hide food from Grandmother and nicely tell her don't worry about feeding the fish. Adding a so call cleanup fish will only make situation worse especially if you add a redtail cat major additional bioload.

Get some geos. They're perfect bottom feeders. That all they do is feed on the bottom when they're done eating.

The best "cleanup" species is Yousiphonicus Gravelcleanerii....

Also, your tank is overstocked right now, so I wouldn't even consider any more fish.

I lol'd at the idea of adding an rtc as a clean up fish. They would eat most if not all leftovers, then when they get a bit bigger in a few months it would get rid of some of the fish whilst also adding greatly to your bio load. Then when the rtc gets too big youd punt it off to someone else and get s small one...bad idea. I dont mean to come off as an ass. But i cant advise you enough not to do this idea. The solutions have been said, either tell grandma to calm down with the feeding of YOUR fish or add a geo. But really youd be better ofnot adding more fish.

+2. Your fish will absolutely be fine not eating for a couple of days. I let my fish fast for an entire week when I go on vacation. Worst thing you can do is let a non fish keeper feed your fish while you're away. RTC idea....just don't do it
