bottom feeder recommendations

Well at my local flea market where I got my big fish the guy also sells apple snails would those do good in my tank? And yes it is her house I'm only 16 about to turn 17 in march.
we have a 20 gallon with 6 Angelfish and a gold severum with 3 cories, 2mollies, and 4 feeder goldfish that my grandmother wanted to keep,Then outside I have a 55 gallon with a divider in the middle with a male red devil that I raised since it was a fry he has a little deformed tail so that's why I kept him then on the other side I have a while bunch of baby convicts , their father, and a baby green terror then I have a empty 10 gallon which I will use to put feeders in and make sure they aren't sick then my tank . Trust me if it was up to me all these fish will have bigger tanks but it's not my house so not my rules but eventually it will be then I'll turn my pool into a big pond lol
 
nah man stay away from apple snails. they're bad news. I'm sure everyone is going to repeat me on this but yeah- you DEFINITELY need to get some bigger tanks ASAP. If your grandma wants to see some facts about tank size requirements per species they're not hard to find at all plenty of guys here will be more than willing to give you an informative earful on how all of your fish need more space.
 
Oh I'm sure but she's an old stubborn cuban Lady trust me if it was up to me I'd buy the biggest tank I can fit in the house or turn my pool into a pond but until then I'll have to wait
