Ok, first off your tank is so overstocked FACT?! Doesnt matter what people say, it is lol?! Id put money on that your nitrate level is constantly high unless your performing w/c's like everyday or something?! Secondly, ive seen blood parrots that would be to big to even turn around in a 55g (which i think is a 200 litre or roughly a 46g in europe!) So why would you wana buy a catfish or a large bottom dwelling fish?! Dont wana sound harsh here but you'd probably wana consider buying a larger tank or re-home most of the fish!!!

Synodontis Eupterus..I have two in my 125 gal. They handle themselves well with my RT, Jag, and Butti
everyone has there own opinion on whether its over stocked or not..... I'm content with my tank..... if nitrate levals or fish size become and issue then i will deal with the problems as they arise..... till then i have a happy community of fish goin on
Ok, I'll be the a-hole. You say some... you don't give out numbers or sizes. You show your inexperiance in the hobby by trying to put cory cats with these cichlids more than once. Are you aware of how big your flowhorn should be after two years!? If they are not around a foot (if male) than you are doing something wrong. Just some thoughts. The species people are suggesting will work in a proper sized tank
kendrew-no one is saying they are bad fish just too large for a 55 gallon especially two. And yes they are aggressive not only that depending on what type of FH you have some reach to as small as 10 inches while some can get to 14.
