I don't know why people try to sell something like a big fish, I'd find a good home for mine and give it away and be happy its happy.

i mean hes really small. like 2-3 inches. i should put pics up. i will tomorrow. idk if he could fit cricket in his mouth. how long will it take for him to get HUGE? i'll keep him in the 29 gal until hes like maybe 4-5 inches, then i'll either move him up to the 35 gal or the 75 gal. i can't house him forever but i'll have him for a while.

Hate to say it but in a 75 you probably won't be able to keep it more than a year. They grow from 1-1.5" a month until they're around 2' or so. Mine grew 3" in one month at one point. If you can get ahold of a tank that is atleast 8'x3'x2 you could keep it for life most likely. Look around on craigslist for one locally, I found an entire 200 gallon setup for $550 that way. There's some good deals out there if you have the space and a little extra cash laying around. If you want him to grow slower (1" per month) then try winging him on pellets and freeze-dried foods once he reaches around 7-8". It takes them no time at all to become monsters

give it 3 days my jardini did the same and was very scared to eat then after 3 days in the tank i added frozen brine and it ate it and the cut in half pellets

it is probably still adjusting to the new tank. dont worry it will take to live feeders very soon. also make sure u always close the tank cover aros jump.

ok today i put some flakes in. he nibbled at those. them i put bloodworms in, and he gobbled them up. i'm happy

when he gets too big i sell him to a respectable pet store, or i sell to friend or MFK.
