Yeah,I looked at the comparison for both mature vieja's.the mature zonatus looks like a monster when up to that 10 inch mark.I am not upset one bit,I don't plan on returning the zonatus at all,the fish is going to be a keeper for sure either way.Well time for me to shop around somewhere else for a Argentea down the road.People may say try cichlidconnection,but I asked a question days ago about shipping info,never got back to me.So I will try somewhere else if possible.

I pretty much only order my fish from Rapps now. Shipping may be a little steep but to me its worth it.
I didn't think that looked like an argentae, but I didn't want to say, as I was not totally sure. Juvie cichlids can go through some dramatic changes in appearance from juvie to adulthood... lol... either way, nice specimen, and I hope you get your argentae soon!

LOL, i was thinking the same thing. I knew that wasn't an argentea but the guy seemed so happy with it i didn't want to say anything. At the end of the day if you're happy with the fish that is all that really matters.

Usually between $87 and $100 so get lots of fish if you order from him. Doesn't matter if you get 1 or 6 you will still pay the higher shipping. The plus side in my opinion is he uses UPS instead of USPS. I will never use USPS again. Lost way too many nice fish through the post office. From now on its UPS for me and that is the method of shipping Jeff uses.
