I ordered two "tea cups" I believe they're reticulated rays. Here is a picture I was sent.

They're suppose to be here tomorrow. I picked up a pur flow yesterday, so they can get perfect water. Should I put anything in with them right away like stress coat or try and feed them a little and see how they act?

aclimatise them to you tank water slowly, incase of ph difference. put them in the tank. leave off the lights and give them a few hrs alone to settle. then try feeding a small amount of frozen blood worm. if they eat it dont feed them any more, just give them a little bit today. then feed alittle more the next day and go from there. you want to be feeding them 3 or 4 times aday as much as they will eat but not untill there settled and feeding properly.

dont keep putting food in there if they dont eat and try not to do to much around the tank while they settle in. if you add food and they dont eat it try to remove it without to much fuss. the more you leave them alone the quicker they will settle.

make sure the water is perfect for them.

I was going to use a trip to help accumulate them. When you say frozen bloodworms are you referring to the cubes?

yes mate thats what i normally try first but im in the uk. ppl on here use live blackworms which i carnt get so have never tryed.

you could also try very small earthworm/nightcrawlers.

i normall drip aclimatise my own rays. just leave them in the box remove some of the water if there sent in alot. put the drip on (one drip every few secs) and remove the water with a jug as the box fills. normally leave them on the drip for an hr or 2.

don't do that. those chemicals don't really solve anything. to keep ammonia down you must have good bio filtration and keep up with water changes.

once you start putting in tank water and removing old water as you go it will remove the ammonia. plus the whole idea of the drip is to do things slowly, sudden changes are bad for any ray never mind a stressed out new tiny retic.

depending how big the box is and how much water is in the bag you may have to add a abit of water to the box to start with so thers enough to let the ray out the bag.

if its a poor lfs they will be packing the ray in a very small amount of water to save weight, to bring the price of postage down.

thats kool. i wish i could have some but my dad wont let me keep more than 6 taks.....lol ya i got 6 tanks in my room!
