Bought two rays today

AHHH so confused, don't know what to do. Some say to just dump, others say to drip. Is it best to check the water their in and then take it from there?

problem is mate, people swear by the dump method an some swear by the drip method. both have had success with each method. what you need to do is go with the method you feel most comfortable in using and go for it.

by the way are the rays CB or Wild?

i have always dripped, until lately. Now i dump, if temperature is close tot he same.

I hear if you drip, it will drive the ph up, and that would cause the ammonia to be more toxic.

I have had lots of rays and done both ways wiith good results, just pick a way and go for it.

I was told they were breed at a farm. I definitely feel more comfortable doing the drip method, but the the while concept of why it's best to do the drop method when they have been in the bag for a longer period of time makes sense. I'll just take some water out and start the drip until there's 3x more water in there and then set them "free". When you get two rays, do they usually come in separate bags? That may make doing a drip a little more difficult.
