bowfin and gar

I've never kept any Bowfin. That's one of about 5 fish that I've always wanted to keep, but just haven't bought any yet for some reason. I suppose that everyone would advise me to go ahead and buy one? Right?

my bowfins are crazy about frozen brine shrimp cubes also offering the spirulina brine shrimp too
a few of them already have showed interest in krill and tilapia slivers
need to try tilapia again they have grown alot since they got here but they are still small
