no problem have a few of those myself.

Hey I need a magazine rack for all my issues. Actually I hunt, fish etc. I've always wanted to try bowfishing but as of this time it's just another expensive hobby. I think if you honestly plan to eat what you catch as you'd have to in bowfishing it's cool. If you're just doing it for the rush however I'd say that's lame.

I scuba and have spearfished, they just explode when you hit them, and its clear underwater so you see the scales float like snowflakes. its wierd cause i can fish with a fishing pole and kill a fish pretty easy. when your down in their world, they follow you around espeically bass and sunnies, bass will even swim right up to your mask and look you in the eye they are so curious, so its harder to kill them.

if your dad ever fresh water dives and gets a northern or walleye, hes damn good, cause you rarely see them, and when you do they are off like a flash, unbelievably fast

My dad only goes for yellowtail seabass or tuna. That takes skill as well, you cant just shoot it anywhere and hope it dies. Men have lost their gun or life trying to catch some tuna. My dad lost his brand new 500 dollar gun when he shot a tuna and missed its gill or lateral line and the tuna started swimming down taking his gun. And you cant use air tanks, as it scares fish.

i never have gone bow fishing and it does not paricularily intrigue me. I am, however an avid rod and reel fisherman who practices catch and release only. I fish first to see as many different fish as possible and i have come to enjoy the sporting aspect of tracking and subsequently fooling these highly efficient predators we call game fish. i do consider it a tragedy when i see such a magnificent gar killed for no good reason. those guys could probably gotten a bigger challenge trying to shoot a goose from 100 yds than wiping out what was most likely a sleeping GIANT, what a shame
i also would not fault anyone that does anything they want to a carp as they are causing a serious decay to the quality of fish life in my area and around the U.S.
unreal fish i would like to have seen those guys try to swim up to that fish and lasso its jaws rather than snipe it with a bow.
totally crazy fish regardless

It's a sport that requires skills.

Definitely man's sport....... requires training and skills... pick your target and accomplish your goal.... it's not like picking up some tnt's and blow up the lake/river to collect dead fish.

It's hunting... with more skills and lower casualties

This can be anyone's sport not limited to males......

so does putting on make-up effectively. Ask any seasoned woman.

Something that requires skill and or "experience" does not mean its a "MANS SPORT!"

"Lower casualties", You are incorrect and obviously dont even know about the said topic.

Fish dont usually live when a large arow blows through their gill plate.

Also, the species of fish usually hunted do not make good "eating". Such as that large Gar pictures above, or very large carp. Its simply a sport of killing for no reason.

i thrill hunt carp, they are so thick here you would not believe it, i know spots where you can throw a daredevil out and snag a carp almost every cast, hell yea i thrill kill them, throw them up on the land and walk away. everyone who lives here hates carp for one reason or another.

shoot them with a pistol, snag them with a strong fish line, spear them, bow and arrow, throw rocks off a bridge on them, cherry bombs, dip net, theres even electric "fish"barriers here set up by dnr, they keep the carp out of lakes, the dnr then net the carp with large nets and destroy them.

one time me and some bros filletted and grilled a carp, worse damb thing i ever tasted, was like eating greasy mud, sorry im off on a carp tangent, but that is the only fish i would spear, mame, kill for no reason

you have the logic comprehension and brain size of a walnut.

i say its another ignorant "sport" from what i saw on the webpage earlier its who could kill the bigger gar right and i just wanna put this pic of the albino gar again as you could see it has 3 arrows in it who knows how many came loose during its struggle "say jed theres a perty white one lets kill it!!" f@(king morons i tell you

yep, know what the sad part is. those gar are more than likely older than the idiots who kill them.

notice the other large gar head in the boat.

they simply kill them for thrill.
