How do you feel about it?

check out roberts gear, he started this post, that bow is made for bow fishing, most set ups are pretty ghetto, they attach to a standard bow, thats a mini compound bow with a spot-light attachment, id say thats sport for sure, most people maim and injure more than they kill, his target feel little or no pain, props on the digs robert!

looks like hes a man of few words, but he could educate us on the sport im sure, wish i had a picture of my diy fish bow, youd get a kick out of it

saw an orca throw a seal like 50 ft in the air on a programme called deep blue, was amazing the power it had. then again it seemed pointless.

also, foxes kill stuff for pleasure. then again they're kinda viewed as pests here hence fox hunting.

i realise these points are pointless, but yea watch deep blue its great. :grinyes:

What channel is deep blue on? I have a ten hour dvd collection of Underwater Adventures, it's awesome!

deep blue is on discovery, great show

im torn between all of these issues. i fish, hunt, and some bowfish. around here we bow fish the shad that come down the river after they spawn because there on the surface and will die in the next week or so anyways. and its the sport of hitting them and the size not for food. shad arnt the best eating and if you do eat them you get the ones going up river not the half dead ones that are all beat up. its alot of fun i wouldnt say its harder than fishing though. no droping bait isnt hard but pulling a bow bak isnt hard ether. its the skill of knowing the patterns and what not while fishing. i also hunt and love it.

heres a point why i dont beleive that people are only hunt for food because you can buy meat for alot less than the $400 gun/bow+$100 tags+ $150 treestand+ $200 boots, camo+$50 calls and scents+ $25 ammo+$150 scope it cost you to hunt. same thing with fishing the 10,000 boat is alot of fish fillets not to mention if your like me and have about 20 rod and reel combos with some being worth over $200, fish lures are crazy $5 for a lure you could lose on your first cast. so if you give 10000 ill suply with all the nenison and fish you want. thats what i think. i do eat what i kill while hunting and i let go most of my fish but when i keep them i make sure to eat them but i wont say im a meat hunter or fisher.

i agree that hunting only big gars is wrong espeicaly if your not gonna eat them! but theres alot bigger problems in our country then a few guys like that isnt there? i rather have states pass laws for harder law enforcement then bowfishing laws

Anybody know what times deep blue is on? I have to see this...
