its kinda cruel to me, but i wouild go bowfishing for carp. i wouldnt hunt for gar bc they (large gar) are a bit scarce in the united states.

I just got into it this year and its a blast I havent gotten to take the boat out to do it yet but been doing it from the river bank and wadding in the water iv only been out three times this year, so far iv shot 5 carp from 5-8lbs and seen some were I go that have to be about 20-40lbs easy I hope to shoot a couple of them soon. Cant wait to get me some gar though there good eating.
