He likes to type, what could be answered in five words, goes on for 5 paragraphs, then he still does not answer. I guess you were selling for DCT, at least in that one thread Paul. I am sure there was no renumeration (cool word I just picked up)

have a doubt regarding your salvini fry
i bought a similar set of fry from my lfs.
he was sure it was salvini, but i had my doubt as the parent fish was more than 12"
so i thought that may be they were parachromis dovii and bought it can you tell me the maximum size of adult salvini or post pics of it

Noticed some interesting quotes on the DCT stocklist this month. Perhaps they've been there a while and I haven't noticed --- interesting nonetheless:

"All specimens guaranteed healthy and disease free."

"All purebred pedigree species."

Also, I saw a photos of the manner in which they break down and sterilize their concrete vats with bleach regularly.

Sounds like a sound approach to ridding themselves of some of the lingering rumors that have been discussed for years. Good for them!

hey buddy did you ever get your fish from Conkels?
 
I didn't read through this whole thread, but I have bought fishes from Don. What I received were fantastic. The only doubt I had were with the guttulatus as being true. But I believe it's still up in the air as to what fish guttulatus really was described as.
I don't know any other source for the rare CA riverine species.
