Neutrinos, and W.I.M.P's (weak interacting massive particles) travel close to the speed of light through our atmosphere....Friction is relative. Any "fire" you see is in fact from the friction of our atmosphere, but certain objects can maintain most of their velocity....


That being said, this story is BS...
