It really woudl be good to hurry up and get some fish into this tank.

It's too bad you're not closer. A store in Columbus has orange chromides right now. I'm planning to pick up a couple for the tank the mangroves are going in

Yeah I've been delayed forever getting fish into this tank. I just need to get a little more coin so I can order some in.

Nice! I always thought white mangroves were more inland though. I see black mangroves and red mangroves by the shore everywhere here in Florida. I also vote for sheepshead minnows. They are a type of killifish in the "pupfish" family (toothed minnows). Cyprinodontidae I believe.

Yep I think you are right white mangroves are more inland. I am going to keep the salinity on the low end for this tank anyway so it should be OK.

Wow I never heard of that sheepshead minnow that is an attractive fish. Thanks for that tip. Do you think I could combine a small group of those with orange chromides?

Hey it turns out there was a group of six C. variegatus variegatus on aquabid.com and I scopped them up. I can't wait to get them! Thanks again Pomatomus for that tip!

Hey no problem! Some others get credit for suggesting it too. The males do get some nice orange and blue. That's a nice find. I was going to suggest a collecting trip lol.

Here's a quick update shot. I moved the planting into my 65G and I think I like this better.
