I thought you hadn't cycled the tank yet.

Tetra Safestart states " Add fish immedietly" I am assuming that they want you to add fish immedietly because the BB needs ammonia(food) to keep multiplying?

I am beginning to see some improvement in the water parameters. I dont think that my BB was dead from the beginning, I think their numbers were kind of low due to the conversion from FW to BW. But it seems that they are making a come back. I give it probably a few more days before theres stable parameters in the water.

Cool, congrats on your 1st BW fish! Be sure you have plenty of decor to keep those puffers occupied.

Yeah these Puffers are something else

They just run around pestering the other fish and then when I feed them, they go ballistic and try to rip the food out of each others mouths.

They act like little kids misbehaving


Its been a week and a day so I decided to raise up the SG a little more. I raised it up .02. So now my Hydrometer read 1.004.

I'll wait another week or so and add a little more and get it into a 1.005 SG.

I cant seem to find any Bumblebee Goby's or Knight Goby's. The LFS around me say they only get it in once in a blue moon..

I wanted (1) Knight Goby and (2) Bumblebee Goby's..... Anybody know where they might sell them online?
