No, I'm sorry I don't remember your entire situation. I give advice on hundreds of threads/day. My question is then, have you fiund out the what SG of the fish you are buying are in right now at the shop? Also, without any ammonia, your BB will be totaly gone within 48 hours.

Ok , well heres my situation. I have the tank at 1.002 SG. The cloudiness is going away pretty fast. My pH reading was 8.2. There is a 0.25 PPM reading on my Ammonia, Nitrite 0 PPM Nitrate 0 PPM.

I also put in Bio Spira for the BB.

The Figure 8 Puffers I want from my LFS is at 1.004. This is what they told me.

So what now?

In fact, Im not even sure if my tank is cycled or not since I kept my same filter from the FW tank. So maybe there is still BB in there multiplying as we speak and maybe there is no need to cycle.

Without feeding ammonia to the bacteria, it will die. Same with the Bio-Spira.

Absolutely. Add enough ammonia to get the test kit to read 5. Keep adding that amount daily, until there is nitrate, then cut the amount you've been adding in half. Keep that up, until the day both ammonia & nitrite stay 0. The nitrate should have spiked & you can do an 80% WC & add fish. I'd do this at a SG of 1.004, since that is that the fish are presently at. Then after a week, you can raise it to 1.005.

I just realized that my tank lights are yellow flurocents. It makes the tank look ugly! Is there a way to just change the flurocents from yellow to white ones?

I'd go with white & blue.

Do you have to by the fluorescents at an aquarium store? or can I to like a local Home Depot and buy them?

Either is fine, as long as you aren't keeping plants. It all depends on what color you like.
