If their butts are on the seats they are still on the bus, just their legs aren't touching the bus.

My answer is 10990.

There are 49 backpacks total (7x7) since every 1 of the 7 girls has 7 backpacks.

Each backpack has 7 big cats, so 49x7, which is 343 big cats.

For each big cat, there are 7 small cats, so 343x7, which means 2401 small cats.

2401+343 is 2744 total number of cats (big and small).

7 girls each has a pair of legs, that's 14.

2744 cats each has 2 pairs of legs, that's 10976.

10976+14 is 10990.

You are correct, I had to re-read the original, I lost track. :irked::irked:
:screwy::screwy:

406 legs
14 girls
196 large cats
196 small cats

Should it read "How many legs are on the bus" instead? Therefore the answer would be 0 since buses don't have legs.

Kenyonsandboa never posted anything about a busdriver, so why is everybody talking about an imaginary bus driver? are you really that afraid that its a trick question?

Come on now, if the bus driver is imaginery, so could be the bus , girls, backpack, cats, etc.
No mention was made as to whether or not the bus was even moving, hence, no need for a driver right?
It just might be a trick question in the fact that none of it really exists.
