just to point things out if it is a trick question.you say on the bus.but you want to know how many are in the bus.who says the girls have there back packs with them.how the hell are that many cats suppose to fit in a school girls back packs anyway.


i did this game 3 times and i will say my final answer is

2 legs are in the bus.

I got this at work today...thought I would share.

There are 7 girls on a bus(7 x 2 =14 legs)
Each girl has 7 backpacks(7 x 7 =49 backpacks)
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats(49 backpacks x 7 =343 big catsx4 legs =1372 legs)
For every big cat there are 7 little cats (343 b/cats x7=2401 small cats x4 =9604 legs
14 +1372+9604=10990 legs belonging to the cats and girls that are on the bus.


Question: How many legs are there in the bus?

Answer is 0 as they are on the bus and not in it.
