Brand almost new 75

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i buy my lr from the lfs. it's about $7 per pound... My lfs has a large 200g tank setup and a lot of these pieces even have coraline on them.

oh wow... wish i could get it that cheap!

i might actually use that live rock ranch place. ground shipping in fl is one day anyway and it's cheaper than buying from my lfs... considerably

Ok I have been thinking stocking and here is my list
2 clown
flame angel
banded coral shrimp
and 2 or three damselfish
and hermit crabs
what does eveybodythink
all suggestions are welcome

Beware of that many clowns and damsels. Clownfish are technically damsel fish and are classified as semi-aggressive to aggressive. Having 5 such fish in a 75 could be bad. I had one clown and one damsel and the damsel attacked my clown. I now have two clowns which seem to have paired. I wouldn't do any more than 2 clown or damsel...

I second this. A lot of times they are ok together when you buy them and put them in, but in time damsels become big bruisers and don't really accept anyone else in the tank. So minimizing how many damsels you put in besides the clowns is key.

you can do 2 clowns. I like tangs but beware with softies. Mandarins, wrasse, goby's...

I know certain puffers are ok with reefs too
