Brand New 180. Future African Tank.

Does anyone have any ideas how to position 2 double union ball valves after my pump so each tank can have it's own 1.5" supply return?

The 180s return is going to be pipe strapped to the stand with 2 T's that let 1" PVC go down around and back up into the bulkheads.

I want the 125s 1.5" return to run under the 180, take a left, then run under the 125 with two 1" reducer T's under each bulkhead so I can run the pipe straight up.

Just not sure what the best route to go is directly after the pump.

Looking good.. :)

I don't understand your question, but if the pump has a 1.5" outlet, that's going to be moving some serious water..

Well, there will be a valve after the pump to valve it back of course. My pumps rated at 3900gph, which between both tanks I won't be reaching haha.

The plan was to have some sort of T after the pump, so there could be a double union ball valve before the 180 return plumbing, as well as the 125.

Thanks Paul. Is that a decent idea? Or can I do it better?

I know with all the turns I'm going to lose pressure, but I can afford it. Water can't be compressed so once I get the pipes full it has to go where it's pushed. Don't think I should worry about all the PVC back to the 125?
