thanks for the info jelly. I've got 2 out of 4 of my favourite channas. the stewartii and the auranti. All i need know is the pleuro and a barca. But the barca is NEVER gonna happen. Unless ashdavid breeds them and sends a couple my way

Congrats on the new snakehead! I just got myself two auranti's too, but yours look great! Get some pics when they are in their tank.

I will see what I can do about the barca's! If I can't get any breeding out 4 fish, I will kick my own ***!

'im feeding them on mealworms gut loaded with Hikari carnivore pellets, frozen hikari bloodworms, hikari freeze dried shrimp soaked in a fish vitamin liquid, live ghost shrimp gut loaded with hikari carnivore pellets. Yes i do like hikari. Make good quality stuff

thanks people. I'm soooo happy i finally got my hands on a pair. I'm pretty sure they're both males.

I read on snakeheads.org that they'll only grow to 19cm. However stotty you said yours was 14". I take it snakeheads.org is wrong?

How can you tell if it is a male or female at that size? Can you tell if this one is male or female?

Beautiful fish, exoticfish! Very hard to tell at that size, but from those pics, I'm thinking more a male, but i don't know??... the head shape is kind of throwing me off?? Hmm... we'll just have to wait and see!??
