Hey all,
A little update:
Today all 10 of the little guys are doing well. Their clamped fins are no longer clamped and they look better than ever. My special recipe of baking soda and ocean salt combined with a higher temp of around 82F has worked like a charm.
As for feeding, I have been offering them live blackworms and they have been picking at them constantly. However today I picked up a load of live guppies, most of which were very small. They hit them in true wild Cichla fashion....feasting until their bellies were swollen. In fact, their bellies are still swollen and there is still a bunch swimming around. I will now always have a constant supply of live guppies in the tank...a technique that I have always used. This time I decided to try the blackworm route first...nah, I'll go with my proven methods of years past

That's all for now.
