Breeding and maintaining mealworms

Dumb as college, but true. That's where the craft boxes come into effect. I have like 10 curling up now so they will be aliens soon enough.

Yes, they will get stressed and will want to keep their lives going. It's either starve or dehrydrate or.....curl up and turn into an alien then beetle and BREED. Which I'm assuming for a superworm/beetle that doesn't sound too bad. lol

i might buy some superworms off of you to try with my fish when u get a stock. my finacee just found my stash of flightless fruit worms. to see the look on her face it was priceless. she thought those bottles were left there so long that they grew them.

I've had my meal worms for 3 weeks and they just started pupating so I'm pretty excited.I'm also breeding crickets but that's taking a long time to and there starting to smell so I ordered cockroaches which I've heard are a lot better.Yea but anyways, I should have some beetles in a week or 2

Awesome, yeah i was thinking about breeding some mealworms for my fish (and future turtle) but wasnt sure how to go about it so this thread DEFINITELY helped, though id like to be able to only have one small tub with only a few beetles breeding, does anyone have experience with breeding them and keeping mealies in same container with just deeper substrate?
