Breeding Clown Loaches!!!!! (load warning!)

has this only started since you put the FRT in the tank ?

if so its probably a scared of getting eatern colors :D

i also noticed that the colors are like that when they are on the bare bottom tank not on the sand

they may see themselfs as a tret in the refection :D

Yeah, they aren't breeding. You need some insanely long tank and some strong currents in order to get breeding to occur. I don't recall ever hearing about anyone breeding them in a tank.

I knew a guy that owned a pet shop that was working on it with a 15 foot long tank with jets of water running the length of the tank, but then he lost the lease on the store and I never heard from him again.

there is a guy who has done it, been trying to do it for years and finally got it right using hormones. even has pics of the fry.
 
I don't think those are mating rituals more like quarelling or having a bit of a fight...I have a group of loaches too about 6" and they do change colours when in a fight or arguement...lol..
