Breeding L200s?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The two have never been recorded as being crossed. Doesn't mean that it didn't happen accidently somewhere. Even if they won't cross breed, I still won't mind keeping a few L128 around.

too rite. i just presume no one has tried to cross breed them. if you could it means you could prob cross breed lots of the plecos. i dont like hybrids though really

Hybrid: A. Adonis + B. Dematoides = L200 coloration with lyre tail, hifin, and lots of spikes!

The transfer of the L200s is getting close. I will be getting a papa pleco sometime soon and will be testing the tank for a week and a half with it in there before my L200s are going to be moved to the 135, one by one of course.

one of the coms has a massive one that is real cheap (for size), but then not one to just test the water lol

Papa pleco is cheap enough for me to test with. THe L106 is doing fine and so is the common.

I probably will just get a really cool plec with my store credit I have in spokane. I have over $100 in credit, which means I could get a killer pleco for nothing or next to nothing. I found one problem that might be what caused the death of the plecos. My Eheim filter had been kinked in the line, and just a few days ago I discovered the kink while doing a water change. I did have a Fluval 404 running on the tank, but it was primarily mechanical. Water quality was still good, but water movement was next to none.
