breeding mollies?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I keep my Black Mollies in 20 gallon tank on my desk so i can see fry. I remove them to a baby net or large mason jars till they are almost 1/2" and feed them to my Loaches and Pictus Cats. They usually breed breed fast enough i give a jar to a friend every now and then to feed to his Cichlids. Keep the water changed out well, I've noticed the cleaner the water it is the more likely to get a new batch (healthy fish healthy babies). Give them algae wafers everyday, mollies love algae - and from what I've read it will help them to bear more and healthier fry.
I've got too many males at the moment so breeding has slowed down. Anyone want a few male Black Mollies?

how many gallons a 2 and a halfx1x1 and a half foot tank holds?help!

If i read that correctly that is 30"x12"x18"
Which would be 6480 cubic inches;
Which would translate to approximately 28.05 gallons.

hey josh how many breeding pairs do you have? i have a 29 sitting with 4 gold fish in it and would be a good breeder, i want to know a sufficient amount of breeders i would need to make both my oscars happy, 1 is 10" and the other is 4" both are pigs and i want to be in stock more often then not

i went out last night and picked up i male and 2 females. this will not be the permanent match up, but would they be ok with this match up for now?
