i just love your female and have wanted one for a while !!
but never found them till now

my lfs said if it doesnt look female i can take it back and try another one !!

Look for one with a rounded off dorsal fin. Yours' is pointy.
 
Your female is sweet but the male I dont know about him, I strongly suggest keeping some male fry on hand for grow up to replace him,or maybe it's the pictures, not tryin to bad mouth your fish, nice job on the breeding

Sorry, I disagree. I like them both. Very nice. One of the best looking males I have seen (and I have two)

I think it's his long almost parrot-like shaped head and face that you're talking about. That uniqueness might make him more appealing to some. I noticed it before but never thought twice about it until now.
