Ok all.. Lets see your Breeding set ups, Post pics and details of the tank (what fish your breeding, special things you've done to help it along etc)


I'm really interested to see what people are running and if anyone is actually breeding for money

Well when I get my stands up and fix up the fishroom, I'm going to buy a lot of 20 Tall's(16 I think was last I checked how many I could fit on the two stands).Going to breed Live bearer's(guppies, mollies, maybe platy's), smaller fish(not sure what to really call these-few kinds of Tetra's, angelfish), Pleco's(gold nugget, bushy nose-albino and the normal kind, some smaller varieties), striped raphael catfish(I just really like these, lol), the dwarf cichlids(Blue Ram at least). Umm not sure what else, I'm going to have to make a list soon. have any other idea's what to breed.

And yes I will be trying to sell these. Won't happen til after X-Mas though, I will be poor with buying all of the gifts, lol. I am very flexible with the list, if some kinds just don't sell then I will switch them up and replace with a new kind. Any suggestions anyone?

Around here it's Plecos that are the money fish... From what I've heard... I don't really know since I usually just sell off my extra Cons and Live bearers as Feeders...

I'd love to hear from some others though.. this could be really informative to those who keep ALOT of fish already... I use a 4 tank system for Cons and it keeps me in youngins all year long... I happen to have pinks and they are easy to sell (not much but it pays for the food for about 10-15 of my tanks

Sweet... Care to get into some details on what you do to handle breeding, dealing with Fry... special care... How you deal with the selling of your Fry?

For what???? Perfectly legal to breed Most fish... and those that don't follow the laws wouldn't have any reason to post in here anyway.... except maybe to give the 411

Not like anyone is putting a gun to anyones head here... simply asked for some various postings, either post... or don't
