I pulled all the wood out the day after my last post to this thread. Still nothing in progress for breeding attempts. Tonight my male didn't want to eat and wasn't very active. So I dropped the heat back down from 87-88 ish to the 78-80 setting. Once the tank started to drop back down he perked up. So I am not doing any more temp bumps like that as they didn't work and seemed to have a negative effect on my male.
