Hi can u give a brief introduction on starting a brine shrimp culture.

slink: how brackish do you keep your setup?

brackish?? I really wouldn't have a clue to be honist I just put salty water into the tank. A step by step guide would be great if anyone has one.

yeah i would also love to know how to properly culture these guys. How to grow them, feeding, water condition and filtration. Anyone care to share? Thanks.

Yes because my 3rd try just failed as well wanting to know what I am doing wrong. Who would think "sea monkey's" would be soo hard.

I warned you :p. The reason not everyone does this is because it isn't as simple as it sounds. Currently I've got 3 tanks of brine shrimp adults going all of which are fine day after day but it took a lot of trial and error to get there. Make sure your tank is adequately heated, your shrimp adequately fed and your water clean and the shrimp will do fine. If you aren't able to determine water salinity then you're going to have a much harder time with this. My salts are measured precisely and replaced precisely with every water change, this is key. Too much salinity, or too little and your brine shrimp will die. They are called brine shrimp of course because they live in briney water not brackish. Also you may not be using the right sort of salt.
